About This Zine:

This zine is inspired by an ice cream I used to eat all the time as a kid. It literally looks like a gourd. It's ice cream sealed inside rubber, so you have to cut the top off, then either suck it out or bite it.

It was super popular at one point-until adults started calling it "condom ice cream." So yeah... it got banned in a lot of places in China. It still exists in Korea and Japan, but the taste? You can never really go back to it.

So I made this zine, trying to find that feeling again and relive this weird, nostalgic part of my childhood.
